Our services for women who are currently in, or historically had, abusive relationships include:

One-to-One Counselling in our Stopping the Violence Program

Counselling services are available by appointment. Crisis intervention is possible and is arranged as soon as there is a counselor available. Counsellors will support women in:

  • planning safety
  • identifying and developing healthy intimate relationships,
  • exploring personal responsibilities,
  • addressing past issues and patterns that get in the way of self determination.

Our counsellors also provide an opportunity to develop goals, positive coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and referral options.
